High Point School is a public school, operated by Washtenaw Intermediate School District, and is dedicated to meeting the special needs of students with disabilities from ages 3 through 26.
High Point offers programming for students with severe cognitive and multiple impairments. The school also offers the following services: occupational therapy; speech pathology; physical therapy, school psychologist; social work; music therapy, adaptive aquatics; staff consultations with medical specialists, and various consultants.

If, after testing, the student is determined to be eligible for a High Point program, placement is based on ability, social maturity, age and physical development.
