Children's Special Health Care Services (CSHCS):

Children's Special Health Care Services is a program designed to help children and youth from birth to age 21 with chronic illnesses and/or disabilities that require specialist care to get the help they need at a reduced cost to the family. The program is diagnosis driven, meaning that eligibility is based on the child's diagnosis, not their income.

Our goal is to work with all members of the community – including disabled individuals, service providers, government agencies, advocacy groups, existing organizations and employers – to eliminate barriers to employment and bridge the gap between disabled job seekers and the employers who want to hire them.

MRS works with eligible customers and employers to achieve quality employment outcomes and independence for individuals with disabilities. We work in partnership with individuals with disabilities to prepare for and obtain competitive employment, including exploring the possibilities of self-employment or owning a small business.

Washtenaw County Community Mental Health (CMH) provides services to adults with a severe and persistent mental illness, children with a severe emotional disturbance, and individuals with a developmental disability, residing in the county.
