Student Distance Learning Device
Request
- Submit an Online Request for a Student Distance Learning Device.
- Send the online request to your direct Supervisor for approval.
- Supervisors: If you submit the online request on behalf of your staff, you can approve your own request in Script by sending the approval step to yourself.
- Tech staff will alert you when the device is ready for pick up and provide a link to schedule a pick-up appointment.
- DO NOT schedule a pick-up appointment until you receive confirmation that the requested device or software is ready.
- Tech staff will let you know if you need to enter the building at the time of pick up.
- To enter a building, you are responsible for coordinating with your Supervisor and submitting the WISD In-Person Visit Check-In online.
Picking up
- Prepare a sheet of paper with your student’s name and assigned program, i.e. John Smith/Red Oak.
- ARRIVE at the TLC Building, 1819 S. Wagner Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48103, WITHIN your 15-minute appointment window, driver’s side window facing the building. See map below.
- STAY IN YOUR VEHICLE
- Open your trunk (if you must open manually, please do so and then return to your vehicle)
- Hold up the sheet of paper to your window so a Tech Dept. staff person may collect the information.
- A Tech Dept. staff person will retrieve the equipment and load it into your trunk.
- Once the Tech staff person has walked away, you may exit your vehicle to close the trunk.
- You may exit the drive.
NOTE:
- As a precaution, all staff members will be wearing masks and all devices sanitized to ensure that equipment is distributed safely.

Return
- Submit an Online Request to the Technology Department.
- Tech staff will alert you if the student’s device needs to be replaced, repaired, etc., and ask you to schedule a drop off appointment.
- Tech staff will send you a link to schedule your appointment.
- DO NOT schedule an appointment until you receive confirmation from Tech staff to do so.
- Tech staff will let you know if you need to enter the building at the time of drop off.
- To enter a building, you are responsible for coordinating with your Supervisor and submitting the WISD In-Person Visit Check-In online.
