State-Approved CTE Programs
Across Washtenaw County’s public schools, we are proud to offer more than 70 state-approved CTE programs, which are housed in our local high schools across four districts/consortia:
- Ann Arbor
- Whitmore Lake
- Ypsilanti
- South & West Washtenaw Consortium (SWWC), representing Chelsea, Dexter, Lincoln, Manchester, Milan, and Saline.
These local districts/consortia run their CTE programs independently from one another, both from a funding and operations perspective.
Below are state-approved high school CTE programs for the 2026-2027 school year. CTE program titles are based on the classification system used by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE). All course titles fall into one of these program categories, although the titles might be slightly different. To learn more about a specific program, contact your district/consortia's CTE director or your high school counselors.
