What is KALPA? A Michigan company that catalogs and tracks Professional Development for teachers and districts.
Why do we need to use KALPA? Staff members need to be able to show proof of the meeting and proof of attendance for MOECS when reporting DPPD and maintaining their professional certificate. KALPA allows for easy uploading of sign-in sheets and meeting agendas or notes that connect right to the “course.” We will also utilize KALPA when tracking Lifelong Learning for staff.
