Many educators say they have high-expectations for student learning, but who gets to set those expectations? And how do we define and measure "success"? Before we can better center students in their learning we must learn how to de-center ourselves. This year the Assessment Literacy Network explored the connection between Culturally Responsive Teaching and Formative Assessment and learned more about how classroom assessment can be used as a tool for social justice AND high academic achievement!
