WISD Cold Day Closure

All WISD programs and administrative offices will be closed tomorrow on Friday, January 23, due to extremely cold temperatures, including: 

  • High Point School, Progress Park, Red Oak, Young Adult Programs and Services, Court Involved Youth, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and all Local-Based classrooms.
  • WISD’s admin offices at the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC).


This closure is ONLY for WISD programs and offices. Families should check local news media and other channels for local district closure decisions.

**IMPORTANT: Due to a School Messenger outage impacting multiple states, WISD families and staff may not receive a phone call, email, or text message notification. Please consider helping us spread the word to other families and staff in WISD programs.
