WISD School Closures & Openings: April 15, 2026

Due to power outages from last night’s storm, High Point School and WISD's administrative offices at the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) will be closed today on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. 

Due to closures in Ann Arbor Public Schools, Milan Area Schools, and Ypsilanti Community Schools, the following WISD programs will also be closed today: Red Oak, Progress Park, Eberwhite Local Based, Milan Middle School Local Based, and Young Adult classrooms at Carpenter, Washtenaw News, Downtown Ypsilanti, Downtown Ann Arbor, Eastern Michigan University, and Washtenaw Community College.

All other districts will remain open today, which means the following WISD programs will be open: Dexter High School Local Based, Dexter Young Adult, Chelsea Young Adult, and the Court Involved Youth program.
